From Kwam 1 To Linda Ikeji, Here Are 10 Nigerian Celebrities Who Acquired Luxury Cars In 2020
Even in the midst of all the doom and gloom that has occupied most of 2020, occationed by global Covid-19 pandemic, some Nigerian Celebrities still managed to splash millions in acquiring luxury cars.
From Kwam 1 to Linda Ikeji, here are 10 Nigerian celebrities who acquired luxury cars in 2020.
1) Wasiu Ayinde Marshall
Earlier in the year, January to be precise, Wasiu Ayinde Marshall aka KWAM 1 splashed ₦200m on Rolls-Royce Ghost to celebrate his new title.
KWAM 1 took delivery of the Rolls-Royce few days before he was bestowed the title of Mayegun of Yorubaland on the 13th of January 2020.
2) Dabota Lawson
Back in February, actress and ex-beauty queen, Dabota Lawson, splashed ₦40 million on a luxury Lexus LX 570 SUV.
The stunning actress, known for Finding Mercy 1 and 2, took to her Instagram page to flaunt her new luxury SUV.
3) Mercy Aigbe
Back in May, Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe joined the list of ever growing “Benz Gang” with the acquisition of a Mercedes-Benz luxury SUV.
The Edo-born mother of two splashed ₦12 million on the 5-seater Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 SUV.
4) Uche Elendu
In June, 33 year old Nollywood actress and singer Uche Elendu acquired a Lexus GX 460 SUV worth ₦22 million Naira.
The full-sized luxury Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) joins several other luxury cars in her collection.
5) Linda Ikeji
In November, celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji took delivery of the latest addition to her impressive collection, a Range Rover Autobiography SUV.
The british-made luxury ride, worth ₦126 million, is one of several gifts she bought to celebrate her 40th birthday.
6) DJ Cuppy
In August, DJ Cuppy, along with her two other siblings, Tolani and Temi, got a Ferrari Portofino gifts from their billionaire dad, Femi Otedola.
Cuppy’s two-door Ferrari Portofino sports car has a MSRP price of £166k, which is about ₦83 million; excluding destination and clearing cost in Nigeria.
7) Patoranking
In August, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known as Patoranking, joined the Lamborghini gang after gifting himself a new Urus.
The high-riding SUV worth ₦140m joins other luxury cars in his garage. Patoranking also boasts a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and a Porsche Boxster.
8) Actress Adanma Luke
Earlier this month, Nollywood actress Adanma Luke bought a Range Rover Evoque worth ₦12 million.
The Anambra State born actress and film director said the SUV was a gift from her to celebrate a successful 2020.
9) Phyno
Music star, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, known professionally as Phyno, also added a Maserati Ghibli worth ₦25 million to his garage.
The Italian machine joins his british-made ultra-luxury cars, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom, Bentley Continental and Range Rover Sport SUV.
10) Omobewaji Oyediji (Bewaji)
Fast rising yoruba actress Omobewaji Oyediji, popularly known as Bewaji and Mo bewa, also acquired a Range Rover SUV.
Her latest acquisition is a 2012 Range Rover luxury Sports Utility Vehicle worth ₦9 million.
