2021 Range Rover Gains New Engines And 3 Ultra-luxury Special Editions
The updated all-new 2021 Range Rover range gains new engines and three special editions.
The special edition model include the Range Rover Fifty, the HSE Westminster Edition and the SVAutobiography Dynamic Black Edition.
British automaker Land Rover has given the Range Rover range a comprehensive update for the 2021 model year with the addition of new engines and special editions.
Joining the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover family are three special edition variants, including the Range Rover Fifty.
The Limited Edition Range Rover Fifty was unveiled last month to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Range Rover.
The Fifty is limited to 1,970 examples to mark the year of its debut, each starting at $148,500.
Special exterior enhancements include retro-inspired paint options, 22-inch wheels, and unique badging.
The Range Rover Fifty is joined by the new HSE Westminster Edition. Starting at $103,500, the HSE Westminster Edition features an Atlas exterior accents and 21-inch diamond turned alloy wheels.
Inside, it has Shadow Walnut veneers, 20-way heated and cooled front seats, refrigerated front center console, soft close doors, and an 825-watt surround sound system.
Completing the trio of special-edition 2021 Range Rovers is the SVAutobiography Dynamic Black Edition.
Starting at $183,000, the flagship SUV features Santorini Black Metallic paint with Narvik Black gloss exterior accents, 22-inch gloss black forged wheels, and branded illuminated treadplates.
Also includes are black brake calipers and Ebony seats with Pimento stitching inside the cabin.
Joining the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Sport range are two other special edition models, including the HSE Silver Edition.
Starting at $78,500, the HSE Silver Edition features a Shadow Atlas finish on the front grille surround; hood vent inserts; door handles; and Range Rover lettering on the hood and tailgate.
It rides on 21-inch five split-spoke gloss black alloy wheels with a contrasting Diamond Turned finish.
There is also a SVR Carbon Edition, which is a more aggressive take on the flagship Range Rover Sport SVR.
Starting at $130,000, the SVR Carbon features carbon accents, carbon fiber interior trim finishers, a carbon-fiber engine cover.
Engines
The 2021 Range Rover and 2021 Range Rover Sport gets a new 3.0-liter straight-six diesel engines incorporating 48V mild-hybrid technology with outputs of 355 hp and 395 hp respectively.
There is also a 5. 0-liter supercharged V8 gasoline engine with 518 hp or 557 hp respectively.
The 518 HP takes the 2021 Range Rover to 0-62 mph in 5.1 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 130 mph.
The flagship Range Rover Sport SVR also gets a more powerful 575-hp 5.0-liter V8 engine.
