2023 Presidential Election : Asiwaju Bola Tinubu takes campaign to Ogun State, arrives in armored Range Rover Sentinel.

Presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, on Thursday met with Gov. Dapo Abiodun and leaders of APC in Ogun State.

Tinubu’s visit to Ogun is part of his ongoing consultation about his presidential bid in the 2023 election.

Bola Tinubu ‘s Range Rover Sentinel is fitted with more than a tonne of armour plating and bulletproof glass.

But this Beast doesn’t come cheap as it starts at £400,000, excluding local taxes and destination charges.

Presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Thursday met with Governor Dapo Abiodun and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, as part of his ongoing consultation about his presidential bid in the 2023 election.

A footage of Tinubu’s arrival was shared by the Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun on his verified Instagram page. The video shows the moment he arrived the venue for a meeting with APC delegates in an Armoured Range Rover Sentinel SUV.

Abiodun captioned the video with :

“Receiving Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who in Ogun State to meet with APC National Delegates and other stakeholders from our dear State”

Governor’s of Kano State and Lagos State, Abdullahi Ganduje and Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, were part of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s entourage.

Tinubu, a former Lagos Governor had begun consultation nationwide, meeting monarchs and prominent stakeholders over his 2023 presidential ambition.

Armored Range Rover Sentinel

Bola Tinubu’s Range Rover Sentinel, from the company’s Special Vehicle Operations division, is fitted with more than a tonne of armour plating and bulletproof glass.

It comes with a unique emergency escape system, and can withstand attacks from powerful weaponry including improved explosive devices (IEDs).

Equipped with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, the hefty SUV has a limited top speed of 120mph and a zero to 60mph in 9.8 seconds.

But this Beast doesn’t come cheap. Findings by Autojosh shows that the Sentinel starts at a whopping £400,000 (or about ₦209 million). This price tag excludes local taxes and destination charges.
