A parking space has reportedly sold for a record-breaking $1.3m ((₦534m or £930,000) in Hong Kong.
It beats the previous record price of $980,000 (₦402 million) set in 2019, also set in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is so crowded, making space, whether for living in or parking a car, sell for huge amounts of money.

A parking space in Hong Kong has reportedly sold for a record-breaking $1.3m (₦534 million). This astonishing price for a parking space beats the previous record price of $980,000 (₦402 million) from 2019, also set in Hong Kong.
The parking space is one of several spots sold by Wharf Holdings Ltd. and Nan Fung Group at an ultra-luxury Mount Nicholson residential project.
Unlike in many major cities across the globe, Hong Kong is so crowded. This has led to space, whether it is for living in or parking a car, selling for huge amounts of money.
Hong Kong, the global financial hub often tops lists of the world’s most expensive places to live. A house on the Peak was secured for a record rental price of $210,000 per month in May.
