Hoodlum Burn Trailer Loaded With Motorcycle Spare Parts For Disobeying IPOB’s Sit-at-home Order (PHOTOS)
Hoodlum reportedly burn a trailer loaded with motorcycle spare parts for disobeying IPOB’s Monday sit-at-home order.
IPOB declared every Monday sit-at-home in the South-East to demand the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The leader of the separatist group is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Despite the suspension of the order by IPOB, residents and traders in the South-East remain indoors.
The sit-at-home order that had been prescribed by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) got messier on Monday when a truck fully loaded with motorcycle spare parts worth millions of naira was reportedly burnt by hoodlums.
According to reports, the dastardly act was done for allegedly refusing to obey the now suspended Monday sit-at-home order that was earlier issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra.
The incident reportedly happened around 6 am on Monday at Eluagu Obukpa, in the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The truck, which was reportedly heading to Enugu-Ezike in the Igboeze North Local Government Area of the state, was coming from Nnewi, Anambra State.
Images taken at the scene and shared on social media pages showed the charred remains of the trailer as well the multimillion naira worth of goods, including burnt motorcycle tyres, it was carrying.

Despite the suspension of the Monday sit-at-home order by IPOB, residents and traders in the South-East remain indoors since the order commenced on August 9, 2021.
The separatist group had in August declared every Monday sit-at-home in the South-East to demand the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services.
