Lagos Computerized Vehicle Inspection Service Encourages Lagosians To Visit More Testing Centres
Lagos Computerized Vehicle Inspection Service (LACVIS) encourages Lagosians to visit more testing centres.
LACVIS said it has 27 fully equipped centres, and 30 more are underway to cover up the 57 Local Government and LCDAs.
LACVIS works with the VIO, FRSC, Nigeria Police, Road Traffic Unions, the press, and the General Public.

Nigeria’s leading vehicle inspection specialist, Lagos Computerized Vehicle Inspection Service (LACVIS), has encouraged Lagosians to visit more testing centres available across the State, and not just the Ojodu branch.
The Lagos Computerized Vehicle Inspection Service said it currently has 27 fully equipped centres, and 30 more are underway to cover up the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas In the State.
LACVIS was set up by the Lagos State Government to ensure the safety of the motoring public. Vehicles are tested for the purpose of ascertaining their worthiness on roads and for the issuance of Road Worthiness Certificate.

According to LACVIS, its employees includes highly trained-Mechanical Engineers that are certified in vehicle inspection with certificate in auto mobile engineering.
“These vehicle examiners have years of experience to conduct professional vehicle inspection. We trust in fostering an environment that promotes continuous learning and development as we strive to harness the capability and potential of our people.”

LACVIS is regulated by the Lagos State Ministry of Transport to provide technical and operational infrastructure to inspect vehicles according to the statutory provisions of the law.
It works with major stakeholders, namely the Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Police, Road Traffic Unions, Electronics and Print Media, the press, and the General Public.
