Bugatti Produces 400th Chiron, 100 More To Go
Chiron production hits 400 units milestone, 100 more hypercars to be built, which Bugatti said are all spoken for.
The milestone hypercar is a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport with an exposed carbon-fiber bodywork tinted dark green.
The interior of the Hypercar has two-tone green and Beluga Black upholstery and an optional Sky View glass roof.
Bugatti has revealed different variants of the Veyron successor since it was unveiled in March 2016.
These includes the Chiron Sport, the Pur Sport, the Divo, and the world’s most expensive new car, the one-off La Voiture Noire.
French Sports car manufacturer Bugatti is celebrating a new phenomenal milestone as the 400th Bugatti Chiron Hypercar rolls off its production line in Molsheim, France.
The 400th Chiron is one of just 500 units that Bugatti plans to make, meaning just 100 units of the limited-edition car remains to be built, which Bugatti said are all spoken for.
The milestone car is a Chiron Super Sport with exposed carbon-fiber bodywork tinted dark green. The interior has two-tone green and Beluga Black upholstery and an optional Sky View glass roof.
This milestone was achieved five years after Chiron was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March 2016. Bugatti began Chiron deliveries of the Veyron successor in 2017, with the 300th Chiron rolling off the assembly line in 2021.
Powering the Chiron Super Sport is the legendary quad-turbo 8.0-liter W16, which produces 1,578-horsepower – about 100-hp more than the standard Chiron. The Chiron Super Sport is capable of accelerating to 300 km/h in 12.1 seconds, with a top speed of 273 mph (440 km/h).
