Imo State Governor Gifts Traditional Rulers Across The 27 LGs Brand New Official Vehicles (Photos)

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, gifts traditional rulers across the 27 Local Governments brand new official vehicles.

Says move was aimed to support the custodians of the tradition as they continue to promote peace and unity in the society.

Vehicles handed out the traditional rulers includes the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser LC 300s, LC 200s, Fortuners and Prados.

The Executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has handed over Thirty-one (31) brand new official vehicles to traditional rulers across the 27 Local Government Areas of the State.

Speaking at the distribution exercise, Uzodimma said the move was aimed to support the custodians of the tradition as they continue to promote peace and unity in the society.

The all-Toyota branded sports utility vehicles (SUVs) handed out to the traditional rulers during the presentation ceremony includes the 2022 Land Cruiser LC 300s, LC 200s, Fortuners and Prados.

Sharing the news in a video taken at the occasion and posted to his Facebook page, he wrote :

“Yesterday, I was delighted to present official vehicles to the Chairman of Ndi Eze Imo, the Chairman of Ndi Eze in Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe zones, as well as Chairmen of Ndi Eze across the 27 Local Government Areas of the State.”

“As heads of the institution that uphold and nurture our traditions as a people, the Traditional Rulers have continued to play this important role in partnership with the Government for the development of our communities and sustenance of peace and tranquility.”

“The transformation of our dear State is not limited to infrastructural development, we must support institutions and custodians of our tradition as they continue to promote peace and unity in our society.”
