Dubai Police Adds Hongqi E-HS9 To Its Impressive Patrol Fleet, Its First Electric Vehicle
Dubai Police latest addition to its fleet of impressive luxury patrol cars is a Hongqi E-HS9, its first electric vehicle.
E-HS9 joins Dubai Police’s supercar fleet from brands like Mercedes, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin and Bugatti.
It can travel around 440km on a single charge and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-60 mph) in under 5 seconds.
Dubai Police says its supercars enhances the security presence of police officers across essential tourist destinations.

The Dubai Police impressive fleet of luxury patrol cars continues to grow with the addition of its first electric vehicle, a Hongqi E-HS9 sports utility vehicle (SUV) from Chinese luxury brand, Hongqi.
The all-electric full-size luxury SUV joins Dubai Police’s supercar fleet that includes cars from brands like Mercedes, Ghiath, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin, Bugatti and Cadillac.
Packing several luxurious features as premium brands like BMW and Rolls-Royce, the E-HS9 can travel around 440km on a single charge and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-60 mph) in under 5 seconds.


Speaking on the Department’s fleet of patrol cars, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, the assistant commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, said :
“Through adding supercars within its fleet of luxury patrol vehicles, Dubai Police enhances the security presence of police officers across essential tourist destinations, including the Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and JBR,” he said.

“Dubai Police has always sought to add the most efficient, flexible and latest models of vehicles to its fleet to deal with various situations.
“These electric vehicles would improve traffic police performance and help achieve Dubai Police’s strategic objective of maintaining roads safety and security.”
