Nissan Slashes The Price Of The Ariya EV Up To $6000

Nissan is adjusting the price of the Ariya EV, and the adjustment is in the favour of the masses. The Ariya is now up to $6,000 cheaper than before.
The entry-level Ariya Engage is $3,600 less, now with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $39,590. The cheapest model with a long-range battery is $41,190. All of the options are detailed in the table below. Note that “e-4ORCE” is what Nissan is calling AWD. As stated, none of the prices include the $1,390 destination and handling charge.
Trisha Jung, senior director, EV Strategy and Transformation at Nissan US, said: “As the electric vehicle market continues to develop and grow, the revised pricing for the 2024 Ariya will improve the model’s competitiveness and ensure we are delivering maximum value to our customers.”.
The Ariya has an EPA-estimated range of up to 304 miles and comes with optional ProPilot Assist 2.0 for hands-off highway driving. You can get the EV with a standard 63 kWh battery or an 87 kWh long-range one, with output ratings ranging from 214 hp to 389 hp.
Later this year, the Ariya will gain access to Tesla’s network of superchargers via a NACS adapter, and starting next year, new Ariyas will ship with the NACS connector built-in.
Nissan offers the EV Carefree+ customer care initiative for the Ariya, which gives you one year of unlimited public charging with EVgo, a seamless home charging solution in cooperation with Wallbox, including scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
