Lexus Introduces All-new LX 700h Hybrid And A Rugged Overtrail Edition - autojosh

Lexus introduces enhancements to the LX Series and the all-new LX 700h featuring a Newly developed Advanced Hybrid System.

First-ever electrified LX700h also introduces an Overtrail trim, joining the Premium, F SPORT Handling, Luxury and Ultra Luxury.

Pricing of the 2025 LX 600 and the first-ever LX 700h will be made available before both go on sale at the beginning of next year.





Toyota luxury brand has updated
its flagship Lexus LX SUV for 2025 model year and introduces the first-ever electrified LX 700h version, featuring a rugged newly developed advanced hybrid system that is built to take on tough terrain.

The 2025 LX is offered in five grades : Premium, F SPORT Handling, Luxury, Ultra Luxury and the new Overtrail. The later, a trim available on the LX 700h, adds rides on 33-inch All-Terrain tires and 18-inch wheels.

The new LX700h uses the twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 from the 2025 LX600 and adds an electric motor between the engine and transmission as well as a nickel-metal hydride battery.





LX700h hybrid system churns out 457 horsepower, 583 lb.-ft. of torque. In comparison, the twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 from the 2025 LX600 produces 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.

The LX700 is the first Lexus hybrid system to feature both an alternator and a starter as standard components. When the hybrid system isn’t work, the starter powers up an independent engine ignition, while the alternator powers the 12V auxiliary battery, allowing the LX700h to continue driving.

Inside, the LX gets a standard 12.3-inch high-definition upper touchscreen with added LX-exclusive 7-inch lower touchscreen, plus a Head-Up Display, which displays essential information such as a speedometer and navigational directions.

All 2025 LX models come standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection designed to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian, bicyclist or motorcyclist.

Lexus says that pricing of the 2025 LX 600 and the first-ever LX 700h will be made available before both go on sale at the beginning of next year. But the current 2024 Lexus LX 600 model has a $93,915 starting price.
