Wizkid splashes ₦1.4 billion on a Ferrari 296 GTS, two months after acquiring McLaren 750S Convertible.

Ferrari 296 GTS joins a McLaren 750S he purchased last December to celebrate a successful 2024.

His collection also includes a Ferrari SF90, Lamborghini Urus SUV, Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 and three Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has added a brand new Ferrari 296 GTS sports car to his growing car collection, nearly two months after acquiring a McLaren 750S.

News of Wizkid’s latest acquisition was made known by Polanco Exotic Cars, where the Grammy award-winning music star purchased the 296 GTS Convertible worth ₦1.4 billion, according to a review shared by the dealership.

The Ferrari 296 GTS joins a McLaren 750S, another convertible sports car worth ₦1.7 billion, which Wizkid purchased last December from Polanco to celebrate a successful 2024.

Cars in Wizkid’s collection also includes a Ferrari SF90 he bought in December 2023, a Lamborghini Urus SUV, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, a Range Rover and at least three Rolls-Royce Cullinan ultra-luxury SUVs.

Ferrari 296 GTS uses a 3.0-liter V6 with an electric motor, which combines to give a 830 hp and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the plug-in hybrid to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and to a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

The 296 GTS is an open-top variant of the 296 GTB with a folding hardtop. Its folding roof needs 14 seconds to go up or down while the electrified convertible is traveling at speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph).
