Mercedes-Benz Is Discontinuing The A-Class By Next Year

As MBpassion writes, the Mercedes A-Class sedan (V177) is nearing the end of production, and individual configurations are no longer possible. However, the hatchback variant of the A-Class (W177) will continue to be produced.
Although Mercedes-Benz still offers the A-Class sedan with various engines for 39,513.95 euros in the German configurator, the freely configurable vehicles can no longer be ordered. The reason: the model is already in the withdrawal phase, and the available vehicles only come from inventory that can no longer be changed. This applies to all engines, including the hybrid variant.
The A-Class nameplate was set to be scrapped last year, together with the B-Class compact van, which doesn’t appear to be getting a stay of execution, but it was extended due to some demand, but that has now changed and as of 2026; it will finally be discontinued.
