Land Rover Launches Discovery Landmark Edition

The fifth-generation Land Rover Discovery was introduced in the fall of 2016 but is still on the market. In an attempt to attract some more customers, the company has now offered a special Discovery Landmark Edition.
The Discovery Landmark Edition costs £76,000 in the UK and sits between the entry-level S (from £70,000) and the range-topping Tempest (£84,000) equipment package. All versions come with the D350 straight six-cylinder diesel engine.
As stated, the Landmark edition “celebrates the essence of the Discovery model.” It offers a unique Tasman Blue colour inspired by the Clearwater Blue offered on the original model.
There are also Carpathian Gray skid plates and Graphite Atlas accents (on the hood, fender vents, and badging), as well as 21-inch alloy wheels with a Dark Agate Gray finish.
Opening the front door reveals lights that project mountain graphics onto the ground. A similar motif can be found on the door sills and dark gray brushed aluminium trim. Other features include tech-velour door panels, a panoramic sunroof, and a fridge in the centre console.
The model is also equipped with air suspension, a black contrasting roof, and an electric tailgate. Other features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.4-inch infotainment system.
Buyers will also find an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless smartphone charging, a four-zone climate control system, and an 11-speaker Meridian audio system. They are accompanied by a range of driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot assist, and emergency braking assist.
