The unveiling of the first customer Koenigsegg Gemera Mega-GT comes two months after the Swedish high-performance automaker announced the start of production, and six years after the reveal of its first-ever four-seater.

Production of the world’s most extreme “family car” is now limited to 300 units worldwide, with every example already accounted for despite the $1.7 million price tag reported at the time of reveal.

Inside, it features electric seats, four heated and cooled cup holders, front and rear seat infotainment displays, front and rear wireless phone chargers, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi connection, a three-zone climate system and a premium audio system with 11 speakers.

Powering the Gemera is an hybrid-assisted twin-turbo V-8 with staggering 2,300 horsepower. This powertrain replaces the originally debuted 2.0-liter, twin-turbo inline-three engine, as the brand claimed that only a small number of buyers actually wanted the three-cylinder option.
