Porsche sold significantly fewer cars in the first half of 2026 than in the same period a year earlier. The number of Porsches sold declined, particularly in North America, China, and its home country of Germany. However, sales of the famous Porsche 911 increased compared to the same period last year.

Porsche sold 122,306 vehicles, a decrease of 16 percent. In North America, still the brand’s largest market, sales fell by 13 percent. Porsche stated that this was affected by the expiration of tax benefits for electric and hybrid vehicles. In China, sales fell by 32 percent, and in its home market of Germany, the decline was 6 percent. Porsche’s sales also decreased in the rest of Europe (-14 percent).

The best-known Porsche, the 911 model series, remained popular. 19 percent more were sold in the first half of 2026 than in the first half of 2025. The best-selling model is the Cayenne, with 38,141 cars delivered.
