A Tour Of The Rimac Facility Where $2.2 Million Nevera Hypercar Is Being Built

A tour of the Rimac facility where Nevera Hypercar is being built the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia.

Just 150 units of the blistering Rimac Nevera hypercar worth $2.2-million each is being built.

The first Rimac Nevera all-electric hypercar chassis 001/150 has been delivered to Nico Rosberg, a former Formula One driver, who ordered one of just 150 units of the blistering hypercar worth $2.2-million back in September 2020.

Speaking of the former Mercedes Petronas driver being its first client, Mate Rimac, CEO of the Rimac Group, said “when we first started designing the Nevera we set out to build a car that would impress even the best drivers in the world.

“Nico was on that list, and it’s a great feeling to know that someone who has mastered the most focused and cutting-edge motorsport in the world gets such a thrill from the car we’ve created.

“And if anyone can test the limits of what we’ve built, it’s him. We’re proud to call Nico a friend and the first member of the rapidly expanding Rimac Nevera owner family.”

Now, Rimac has given us a behind-the-scenes look at where the magnificent Nevera — the world’s fastest, all-electric hypercar — is actually being built at its massive facilities on the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia.

Filmed by a First-person View (FPV) drone with stunning precision, which began its journey from front door and then into the meeting rooms, before swopping down to the production line where the talented Rimac craftspeople put the Nevera together.

From here, we got see inside the chassis of a Nevera as its being built, do a lap of the rolling road before ending up in quality control, where our experts ensure that every car built has been done so to our exacting standards.

The limited-edition Rimac Nevera is manufactured in the same factory and at the same rate as the Pininfarina Battista (roughly 1 per week), an electric sports car manufactured by Automobili Pininfarina GmbH.

Powered by four bespoke Rimac-engineered electric motors, Rimac claims the 1,914-horsepower Nevera has a 258 mph top speed, get to 60 mph in 1.85 seconds and shoot through a quarter-mile in 8.6 seconds – making it quicker than anything you would ever find on the road.
