Aston Martin Commemorates The Volante Model’s 60th Anniversary

Aston Martin has been a leader in designing stunning convertibles for decades. This year marks the 60th anniversary of its first Volante model.
In honor of that anniversary, the British brand presented special editions of the current DB12 Volante and Vanquish Volante models, created in cooperation with the Q by Aston Martin division.
Both cars showcase a stylish dual tone of Q Pentland Green and darker Westminster Green for the bonnet, accented by bronze details on the mask and side vents. The 21-inch bronze wheels with diamond-cut edges and a discreet Q badge on the fenders emphasize their unique editions.
The interior stands out with luxurious materials and carefully selected details. The combination of colors and leather creates a classic yet modern impression. Wooden inserts in the texture of dark walnut wood were also added, while bronze accents connect the interior with the exterior. Special “60th Anniversary” logos remind you that these are collector’s items. The DB12 retains the 2+2 seating arrangement, while the Vanquish is designed as a two-seater, offering more space for luggage.
The DB12 features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine with 680 hp and 800 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h. In contrast, the Vanquish boasts a more powerful 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12, producing 835 hp and around 1,000 Nm. This makes it the fastest Aston Martin convertible, reaching 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 344 km/h.
Each of the two editions will be produced in just 60 copies, emphasizing the symbolism of the anniversary. The first deliveries are planned for the end of 2025, and prices have not yet been announced.
Given the rarity and status, it’s clear that collector interest will be high, regardless of the “absurdly long names” that Aston’s marketing experts have chosen for these cars. Namely, the cars are officially called Aston Martin DB12 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition and Aston Martin Vanquish 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition.
