According to a BMW insider from the Bimmer Post forum, the 2 Series Active Tourer will cease production in October 2027. It was previously reported that the minivan will remain in production until October 2029. The report states that there will also be a streamlined lineup for the final two years of production. vehicles. The model should continue to be offered only in 218i, 220i, 225e and 230e versions.
BMW did not release sales figures for the Active Tourer, opting instead to tie them to the 2 Series Coupe and Gran Coupe figures. However, the fact that BMW made a second generation means that the original model was not a failure.
