Gov. Wike Rescues Ex-NDDC Acting MD With His Bullet-proof BMW 7 Series (Watch VIDEO)
Earlier today, Governor Nyesom Wike rescued embattled former NDDC Managing Director, Joy Nunieh, from police detention at her residence in Port Harcourt. Bullet-proof BMW 7 Series
This comes hours after heavily-armed police officers cordoned off her house preventing any entry and exit.
Joy Nunieh had earlier called into a live TV programme. On the programme, she announced that stern-looking mobile policemen some of whom were armed with tear gas canisters had besieged her residence.
The Rivers State governor then rushed to the residence of the former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The Governor’s convoy had earlier driven past the street to Joy Nunieh’s residence before eventually forcing entry into her residence and ordering the police officers out.
Moments later she emerged from the building and was driven off in the same vehicle with the Governor – a bullet-proof BMW 7 Series.

Joy Nunieh is the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
She has been on a warpath with Niger Delta Minister, Godswill Akpabio. Akpabio’s ministry supervises the NDDC.
She has accused Akpabio of sexually harassing her, asking her to convert the dollars in the NDDC account, forcing her to swear a blood covenant and bombing pipelines in the oil-rich Niger Delta region.
She also said Akpabio asked her to fire the head of the NDDC legal team because he hails from the North, remove all directors who refused to follow his instructions and implicate Peter Nwaoboshi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on NDDC.
According to Nunieh, Akpabio fired her because she refused to commit fraud and sleep with him.
