Industry-first : BYD Offers To Cover All Losses For Accidents Caused By Its God’s Eye Self-driving System
In a world first, BYD offers to cover all losses for legally-liable accident caused by its God’s Eye Self-driving System in China.
With this offer, BYD will pay for all losses resulting from a legally-liable accident, including repairs to the owner’s vehicle, and personal injury.
One-year Full Damage Coverage guarantee applies to new buyers and existing owners who upgrade to God’s Eye 5.0 in the Chinese market.
Landmark announcement was made at at the unveiling of its new XUANJI A3, which natively supports L3 and L4 autonomous driving.

BYD has announced a one-year Full Damage Coverage for the Urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) function of its God’s Eye Driver Assistance System in China, as it further its ambitious goals of achieving Zero Traffic Accidents.
This industry‑leading commitment makes BYD the world’s first automaker to offer dual coverage for its advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) that serve as a Super Driver, following its commitment to Intelligent Parking.

With this offer, BYD will pay for all economic losses resulting from a legally-liable accident, including repairs to the owner’s vehicle, third-party property damage, and personal injury.

“The policy states that if a legally-liable accident occurs while a user is operating the Urban NOA function in compliance with regulations, BYD will directly cover all resulting economic losses,” BYD said in a press release.
According to BYD, the one-year Full Damage Coverage guarantee applies to new buyers and existing owners who upgrade to God’s Eye 5.0 in the Chinese market.

This landmark announcement was announced at BYD’s Intelligence Strategy Launch Event, where it unveiled the XUANJI A3, China’s first self‑developed 4nm automotive‑grade Driving SoC which natively supports L3 and L4 autonomous driving.
BYD said the confidence to make this industry‑leading commitment rests on its massive fleet of over 3.15 million Intelligent Driving Assistance vehicles on the road, the abundant data generated by the God’s Eye – with over 124 million miles logged daily, as well as its dedicated R&D team of 5,000 engineers.
