Cadillac Refreshed Its XT4 SUV For 2024 Model Year With A New Large 33-Inch Screen

Cadillac’s entry-level SUV the XT4 has been refreshed for the 2024 model year and it looks like a proper Cadillac, especially in the interior layout which has been vastly improved.

Set to arrive this summer, the 2024 XT4 features an all-new front fascia with a modernized grille and updated lighting units.  The latter immediately stands out as the headlights are now located beneath slender LED turn signals, which are flanked by vertical daytime running lights. The changes continue further back as the crossover has been equipped with new 18- and 20-inch wheels. Buyers will also find a revamped color palette as well as a lightly revised rear end with new reflectors and an updated exhaust.

The biggest changes come inside where the XT4 gets a gargantuan 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen that’s the same one found in the Lyriq. Not only is this a substantial upgrade over the outgoing eight-inch unit, but it’s also the largest screen available in this segment. The curved display delivers 9K resolution as well as high-tech features like a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and built-in Google, and Amazon Alexa integration.

Each trim level includes unique appointments. The Luxury trim features Piano Black trim with laser etching, the Premium Luxury gets wood or aluminum trim (depending on the color combination), and the Sport includes genuine carbon fiber or genuine wood (depending on the color combination). As standard, the Cadillac Smart System bundles blind zone steering assist, rear cross-traffic braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, following distance indicator, automatic high beams, lane keep assist, and second-row seatbelt indicator.

Powering the 2024 XT4 is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which remains unchanged and still makes 235 horsepower fed through a nine-speed automatic. The 2024 Cadillac XT4 is available in base-model Luxury, mid-level Premium Luxury, or range-topping Sport.
