Court Remands 16 Railway Vandals For The Alleged Theft Of NRC Properties Worth N245M - autojosh

Court remands 16 railway vandals for alleged vandalism and theft of NRC properties valued at N245 million.

Police told the court that the incident happened between March 14 and April 4, 2021 in Plateau and Kaduna states.

Magistrate O. G.  Oghere of an Ebute Metta Magistrates’ Court has remanded 16 railways vandals in the custodial centre of the Nigeria Correctional Services (NCS) for alleged vandalism and theft of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) properties valued at N245 million.





The defendants will remain in custody of the centre pending perfection of their bail.

The vandals who were arraigned before the court yesterday are being tried for vandalism and stealing before Magistrate Oghere.

Police prosecutor Itaita Ebibumimi told the court that the incident happened between March 14 and April 4, 2021 in Plateau and Kaduna states.

All the defendants pleaded not guilty. The case was adjourned till August 17.
