Davido Eyeing All-new 2026 Mercedes‑Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series (PHOTOS)

Award-winning music star Davido eyeing the recently revealed all-new 2026 Mercedes‑Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series.

Billed as the sportiest model in Maybach’s history, the open-top SL 63-based car combines Maybach luxury with AMG power.

Powering the Mercedes‑Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is a 585-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

It allows the two-seater to reach 100 km/h (60 mph) in 4.1 seconds and then to a top speed of 260 km/h.

The all-new 2026 Mercedes‑Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series will likely join the car collection of Davido in the near future, judging by the music star’s reaction to a review done by Jordan Sanford.

In the review of the Mercedes‑Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, which was liked by the official Instagram handles of Mercedes-Benz USA and Maybach Luxury, Davido wrote “Awwww Mehn”.

Davido’s collection already includes a 2023 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class By Virgil Abloh, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, a Bentley Bentayga SUV, a Lamborghini Aventador sports car and a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680, billed as the sportiest model in Maybach’s history, made its debut in August 2024 at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering in Pebble Beach.

The open-top SL 63-based Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 combines the Mercedes-Maybach luxury with the AMG power. It promises ultimate open-air driving experience.

On the outside, the SL-badged drop-top Maybach sports an upright 3-pointed Star and an illuminated Maybach Grille while the rear end gets a unique taillights with Maybach lighting signatures.

Inside, the door panels, the centre console and seats are all finished in crystal white nappa leather. As seen in the video shared, the fully digital instrument display and the electrically adjustable centre display boasts unique Maybach start-up animations and display styles.
