Terrifying Fast-Flowing Flood Water Overwhelms A Street In Jakande Estate, Oke-Ofa, Lagos (VIDEO)
Residents of Jakande Estate, in Oke-Afa, are crying out for government intervention after heavy rainfall caused flash flooding there. The location is a flood-prone area in Isolo, Lagos State
In a video shared online, a resident was heard appealing for intervention from the various arms of government in the state.
She described the location of the flooded street as Gold Crescent, Bungalow area, Jakande Area in Oke-Afa.

Jakande Estate is located in the Oke-Afa axis of Isolo in Lagos State. The area, mainly due to poor drainage network there, perennially, has been prone to flooding. Jakande Estate Jakande Estate
In some areas, buses and motorcycles refused to convey residents beyond a certain area due to the cases of flooding there.
The area is under the supervision of the Lagos State Development Property Corporation (LSDPC). The company builds, rents and sells houses to low, medium and high-income families in Lagos.
