Fuel Price Hike – Dino Melaye buys Vespa Scooter as he abandons his gaz-guzzlers like the G-Wagon and Harley Davidson bike.

Former Kogi Senator, known for showing off his expensive cars, said a four litre of fuel in the Vespa will last him a whole week.

He revealed he cannot afford to fuel some of his gaz-guzzlers, noting that his Ferrari, G63 and bikes consumes a lot of fuel.

Dino Melaye has purchased a Vespa, claiming the scooter, unlike the luxury power bikes and cars in his garage, will save him some cash, amid rising cost of petrol under the current administration.

While announcing his latest purchase which he brought from Dubai and fitted with Dino 01 number plate, he said a four litre of fuel in the Vespa will last him a whole week.

With fuel currently sold as high as 1,100 in some areas, Dino further revealed that he cannot afford to fuel some of his gaz-guzzlers, noting that his Ferraris, Mercedes-AMG G63 and power bikes consumes a lot of fuel.

“Fuel economy under Tinubu’s economy. I decided to apply sense. Vespa, lo laiye. SENSE!!!”, he wrote in a video posted to his official social media page.

It comes just three months after he splashed on a one-off Rolls-Royce Ghost Nautical. The yacht-inspired ultra-luxury sedan joined his car collection in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

The former Kogi Senator is known for showing off his expensive luxury cars on the social media. His home in Nigeria already houses several G-Wagons, including limousine and bulletproof variants of the SUV.

He has also shown off his a Ferrari California, Rolls-Royce Wraith, McLaren MP4-12C, Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series and a Rolls-Royce Phantom 7 and two power bikes – an Harley Davidson and an Suzuki Hayabusa.
