IAT Truck Mad ‘T-Mad’, China’s Answer To Tesla Cybertruck Unveiled At Guangzhou Auto Show

IAT Automobile Technology debut the T-Mad Concept all-electric pickup truck at the ongoing 20th Guangzhou Auto Show.
5,878 mm long electric pickup truck with a massive 3,622 mm wheelbase dubbed as China’s answer to Tesla Cybertruck.
Production model to have a range of 497 miles (800 km) and as much as 621 miles (1,000 km) with a larger battery pack.
IAT Automobile Technology, a new startup from the largest automobile market has debuted the Truck Mad ‘T-Mad’ all-electric pickup truck at the ongoing 20th Guangzhou Auto Show in China.
The 5,878 mm (231.4 inches) long electric pickup truck with a massive 3,622 mm (142.9 inches) wheelbase has been dubbed as China’s answer to the Tesla Cybertruck.
Though still in concept, the gargantuan electric truck is expected to reach the production line and other markets, where it will be able to complete with the likes of Tesla Cybertruck and Hummer EV.
T-Mad comes with a full set of LED headlights and a large black plastic bumper along with 2 tow hooks. The 4-door electric pickup features a rear suicide doors that open up to reveal a luxury cabin.
Inside, the futuristic cabin features a large lounge-like chair at the rear while three smaller seats that can be swiveled around are distributed at the front. The driver sits at the middle.
Few technical details about the T-Mad are known, but production model is expected to have a range of around 497 miles (800 km). The range can be increased to as much as 621 miles (1,000 km) with a larger battery pack.
