ICE Ban : Here are car brands that will stop selling you a brand new petrol and diesel cars from 2030.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last week announced that the UK government is easing to its transition to electric vehicles by pushing the ban on sales of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030 to 2035.

The five-year delay to the ban on petrol and diesel car sales will allow lovers of cars powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE) to buy new ones for the next 12 years.

While confirming the postponement till 2035, Rishi Sunak said :

“I’m announcing today that we’re going to ease the transition to electric vehicles,’ he confirmed.”

“You’ll still be able to buy petrol and diesel cars and vans until 2035. Even after that, you will still be able to buy and sell them second hand.”

While this is good news to many drivers in the UK, not every car brand will be selling petrol and diesels in 2030 as many have already shown commitments to transition to electric vehicles (EVs) by – or before – the end of the decade.
