Innoson Donates Made-in-Nigeria Fire Truck To Abia State Government

Innoson donates Made-in-Nigeria fire truck to Abia State Government to help support its fire fighting efforts.

State-of-the-art fire truck was presented to Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Alex Otti in Umuahia on Saturday June 1st.

With the presentation of this Fire Truck, IVM said Abia is now better equipped to respond to fire emergencies swiftly and effectively.

The Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM), Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, has donated a state-of-the-art Made-in-Nigeria fire truck to the Abia State Government to help support the state’s fire fighting efforts.

The presentation ceremony took place at the Government House in Umuahia on Saturday June 1st, and the Fire Truck was received by the Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Alex Otti.

“The Innoson Made-in-Nigeria Fire Truck is designed to enhance the state’s capacity to combat fire disasters effectively,” Cornel Osigwe, Innoson Head of Corporate Communications, said in a statement.

“This cutting-edge technology guarantees optimal performance, enabling firefighters to swiftly tackle fire outbreaks and protect lives and properties within the community.

Following the presentation, Governor Otti praised Innoson’s commitment to supporting local initiatives and highlighted the importance of investing in domestic manufacturing, which he said showcases the capabilities of Nigerian industries, and reducing reliance on imported goods.
