Lionel Messi’s Luxury ₦5.5 Billion Private Jet Forced To Make Emergency Landing Due To A Fault (Photos)
Lionel Messi’s customised £12m private jet was forced to make emergency landing at Brussels airport on Friday due to a fault.
The 16-seater jet has two bathrooms, a kitchen, as well as Messi’s shirt number 10 painted on the tail.
The steps feature the names of Messi, his wife, Antonella, plus his children, Thiago, Ciro and Mateo.


Lionel Messi’s private jet en route to Tenerife in Spain was forced to make an emergency stop in Brussels airport on Friday due to issues with its landing gear.
The aircraft, which was grounded at Zaventem at 9:10am; took off again 90 minutes later before turning around and returning to Brussels.

There is currently no information whether the Barcelona star was onboard the flight.

Argentina superstar Lionel Messi bought the Gulfstream V jet two years ago for around £12million (₦5.5 billion).

The aircraft has Messi’s shirt number 10 painted on the tail. The steps feature the names of Messi and his family – wife Antonella, plus children Thiago, Ciro and Mateo.
Inside, the 16-seater jet has two bathrooms as well as its very own kitchen. The chairs can also be folded up and turned into eight beds.


Lionel Messi and his Barcelona team-mates are currently isolating themselves due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Spanish La Liga has been suspended indefinitely because of the deadly virus.
