Meet The 2022 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition, A Minivan With An Off-Road Touch
Many thought that the minivan reign was over but Toyota gave this segment a relive and others followed suit with new minivans being available for the 2021/2022 model. That aside this is the main story, introducing the Toyota Sienna Woodlands which is different from the regular Sienna or any other minivan. This is because the Sienna Woodland is an off-road-oriented model.
The latest generation Sienna is already AWD-only, but the Woodland edition has additional ground clearance, roof rails with crossbars, a tow hitch with a 3,500-pound towing capacity (ideal for a four-wheeler), 18-inch wheels, dark chrome-colour accents, black badging, and unique exterior colours like Cement and Midnight Black Metallic.
Inside, you’ll find black sport-trimmed seats with unique stitching, second-row captain’s chairs, flexible seating and cargo layout, kick-activated sliding doors, no less than seven USB ports across all three rows, and a JBL audio system with 12 speakers, among others.
Just like in the regular Sienna, the Hybrid AWD system utilizes a separate electric motor to power the rear wheels, proving instant additional traction at all vehicle speeds. Toyota says that the system sends up to 80 percent of power to the rear wheels during off-the-line starts and when driving on slippery surfaces.
The Sienna Woodland brings something different to the table which is practicality and a touch of off-road prowess when the need arises. Customers may want to consider the Sienna Woodlands over an SUV as it will be more comfortable and of course practical.
