Nissan Ariya Successfully Drives To The North And South Pole
It worked! After about ten months, a Nissan Ariya specially equipped for the adventure has arrived at the South Pole. At the beginning of this year, the EV left the North Pole.
Do you remember that extra-rugged Nissan Ariya that stood in the freezing cold at the beginning of February and appeared on your screen? That Ariya was then placed at the North Pole and had to get to the South Pole from there. Of course, not everything could be done while driving, but a journey of 30,000 km remained. Now the ride is over; the Ariya is at the South Pole.
The couple Chris and Julie Ramsey were given the honor of guiding the Ariya through this adventure, and it will undoubtedly have been adventurous enough for them as well. “This has been an incredible journey, with the people we’ve met, the friends we’ve made, and the support we’ve received,” said Julie Ramsey.
The Nissan Ariya in question looks more heavily rebuilt than it actually is. It was only prepared by a company to have 39-inch tires on it. They certainly came in handy in some parts.
