Professional thieves strip Toyota Highlander down outside owner’s home, steals mirrors, brain box, front/rear lights, battery.
The Highlander was methodically stripped bare for parts during an over night raid in an unnamed area in Lagos State.

A car owner has advised Nigerians to start parking indoors or to beef up the security around their parking lots after his Toyota Highlander was stripped off its part during an overnight raid in Lagos.
The incident reportedly happened while the car owner slept just meters away from where the Toyota Highlander SUV was parked in an unnamed area in Lagos.

Parts stolen from the car includes side mirrors, both front and rear lights, battery and plugs from the bonnet, brain box, as well as both “Door Control Modules”.
The owner said he was stunned in the morning after discovering that his first-generation Highlander had been methodically stripped bare for parts.

The victim also shared a shocking video tour of his Toyota Highlander to show how his once beloved ride has been decimated.
“See what I woke up to this morning… Side mirror gone, full light gone, socket plug, battery gone, another light gone, brain box gone”
Judging by how the parts were methodically removed in that short time, it’s obvious it wasn’t a one man’s job, but that of team of professional thieves who work together to cut the time down.
