INEC on Sunday declared Reverend father Hyacinth Alia of APC the winner of last Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

As the Executive Governor of Benue State, Reverend father Hyacinth Alia may likely use a Lexus LX 570 as his official car.

A Lexus LX 570 SUV fitted with “Governor-Elect Benue State” number plate reportedly owned by Catholic priest Reverend father Hyacinth Alia has surfaced online, ahead of May 29th swearing-in ceremony as the Executive Governor of Benue State.

Recall that Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Reverend father Hyacinth Alia winner of last Saturday’s election.

The APC governorship candidate won in 17 of the 22 LGAs in the state, polling 473,933 votes to defeat the candidates of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), who both scored 223,914 votes and 41,841 votes respectively.

Alia is expected to take over from Governor Samuel Ortom of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on May 29th. As the Executive Governor of Benue State, Reverend father Hyacinth Alia may likely use a Lexus LX 570 as his official car.
