Rimac Recalls 9 Copies Of The Nevera Hypercar In The US
At Rimac Automobili, they noticed a potential problem with the low-voltage electric line in the Nevera hypercar and will correct the potential error at no cost to customers, said Rimac Automobili after it was announced that nine copies of the Nevera were recalled in the USA.
“We approached the Nevera owners to address their concerns regarding the installation of the low-voltage C19 electrical line. Namely, during a regular quality check in our production process, we noticed a potential problem. Although no incidents or customer complaints have been reported, nor have any safety problems been observed, we are taking proactive steps to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance”, they answered for Hina from Rimac Automobili.
They point out that the standard recall process includes inspection of vehicles at their delivery points, and that Rimac and its authorized service partners have already begun the inspection process and, if necessary, will correct the potential fault at no cost to the customer.
The 2023 and 2024 Neveras have been recalled due to potential problems with the C19 low-voltage cable, which is suspected to have been improperly attached at the factory, and can damage the cable’s insulation while driving.
Rimac began an investigation in early October, while the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) was notified of the recall on October 18, 2024, media reported.
Car owners will be notified and are advised not to drive their cars until authorized service centers resolve the problem. Service personnel will inspect and repair the cable free of charge.
As it was said recently at the Rimac campus promotion, 39 Neveras have been produced so far, but not all have been sold.
