Not many customers will ever hook a trailer to their Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II to serve as a work truck. First unveiled in May 2024, the latest incarnation of the British luxury marque’s first-ever SUV—and its best-selling model—costs over ₦1.5 billion to own in Nigeria.
However, this hasn’t stopped someone from testing the towing capacity of the Cullinan Series II. A model—likely a Black Badge variant—finished in dark emerald green was recently seen effortlessly towing a vintage Aston Martin DB5 on a trailer.

When equipped with the optional electronically deployable tow hitch, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II has a maximum towing capacity of 7,300 lbs (approximately 3,311 kg). This allows the ultra-luxury SUV to effortlessly tow trailers or support bike racks.
The Aston Martin DB5 and a standard open car trailer weigh roughly 1,500 kg (3,310 lbs) and 700 kg (1,540 lbs), respectively. Together, both loads weigh approximately 2,200 kg (4,850 lbs), leaving plenty of headroom under the Cullinan’s maximum towing capacity.

In addition to its impressive towing capacity, the latest-generation Cullinan Series II proves to be a capable off-roader. Owners have even been seen enjoying desert adventures among the sloping Arabian dunes in what remains the world’s most expensive production SUV.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II uses a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine, which generates a total output of 591-horsepower and 900Nm of torque in the black-trimmed Black Badge Cullinan Series II. It has a limited top speed of 155mph and will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5 seconds.
