Rotating Number Plates
Nigerian Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) vowed to investigate the source of a Nigerian registered custom number plate that rotates at the touch of a button, just like the one on James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 in Goldfinger.
In a trending video shared by the police, a Toyota Highlander SUV was seen flipping the existing number plate to show another piece of number plate on the other side.
The Nigerian Police says every vehicle in Nigeria must be registered and have a number, not many numbers.
EFCC Hands Over Vehicles To Victim Of Fraud
The Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC handed over a property in Lagos and vehicles recovered from a convicted fake Army General to one Bamidele Safiriyu Olusegun.
The convict, Bolarinwa Abiodun, had posed as an Army General to defraud the victim of the sum of N266,500,000. Vehicles handed over to the victim includes a Range Rover, BMW 7-Series sedan, Land Cruiser and a Toyota Hilux.
Nigeria To Start Assembling EV By 2023
The Nigerian Government on Thursday signed MoU with Israeli and Japanese companies to start assembling electric and smart automobiles by 2023.
The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) said that the domestication of the tech will allow the country to manufacture Nigerian-made electrical vehicles in the nearest future.
The project would help address the many challenges affecting the transport and environmental sectors in Nigeria.
LASG owns setbacks across the metropolis
Lagos State Government (LASG) owns setbacks across the metropolis, says GM Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), says GM Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA).
