See Kazakhstan Air Astana’s New Aircraft That Is Painted To Look Like A Snow Leopard

Kazakhstan’s Air Astana has unveiled a new Brazilian-made Embraer 190-E2 aircraft with an incredible snow leopard paint job which is intended to draw global attention to the threat of extinction faced by the large wild mountain cat .





During the presentation to the media at Astana International Airport ,the Astana President and CEO Peter Foster said :

“All of us at Air Astana are pleased to receive our first E190-E2, and we look forward to a smooth entry into service and a simple transition for our pilots. We know Embraer’s E-Jets well, and have high expectations for their new generation aircraft in terms of economics, environmental impact, and levels of comfort and convenience for our customers”

The snow leopard aircraft is the first of five ordered by the flag carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the remaining four set to be delivered next year .

The new Embraer E190-E2 is fitted with 108 seats in a two-by-two layout (and no dreaded middle seats) to provides more legroom.





The maker,Brazil’s Embraer, is the world’s third-largest producer of civil aircraft, after Boeing  and Airbus.

The company recently took an E190-E2 with a shark painted on its nose on a world tour and also delivered a model with a scary tiger paint job to a customer.
