Shovel rescues Bugatti Tourbillon prototype stuck in thick snow during cold winter day testing in Zagreb, Croatia.
Electrified Tourbillon, a replacement for the Chiron, is the first Bugatti in more than 20 years not powered by the iconic W16 engine.

Car Spotting Croatia recently pictured a Bugatti Tourbillon VP1 (Verification Prototype) prototype car stuck in snow that appears to be at least a foot deep during a cold winter day testing in Zagreb, Croatia.
According to SupercarBlog, an old-fashioned shovel was used to clear the thick snow when its high-tech 8.3-liter V16 hybrid powertrain that produce a combined output of 1,800-hp failed to the rescue the stuck car.

While Bugatti is yet to make a production car, eagle-eyed Car Spotting Croatia has been sharing videos and images of the test mule VP1 spotted on the highways, parking lots in Croatia.
The all-new electrified Tourbillon hypercar made it debut in June 2024 not only as a replacement for the legendary Chiron but also the first Bugatti in more than 20 years not powered by the iconic W16 engine.

Prototypes of the Bugatti Tourbillon has been undergoing extensive testing across multiple terrains and weather conditions around the world ahead of start of production and delivery in 2026.
Just 250 examples of the 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon (or half as many as the Chiron) will ever be produced, with each starting at 3.8 million euros (roughly $4.1 million), before unlimited options.
