The Bugatti Veyron Returns As A One-off, Bespoke Hypercar Called “F.K.P. Hommage”

All-new, one-off Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage hypercar honors the Veyron and Volkswagen ex-chairman, Ferdinand Piëch.

Powered by the same 1,600 hp W16 engine in the Chiron SS – the F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation of Programme Solitaire.

F.K.P. Hommage shares the exterior design of the Veyron, including its distinctive red finish, though every surface has now been refined. 

Bugatti has unveiled the all-new F.K.P. Hommage, a one-off hypercar that pays tribute to the Veyron and its visionary creator, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch – who was then the Chairman of the Volkswagen Group.

The second creation of Programme Solitaire, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage features the same 1,600 hp quad-turbocharged engine in the Chiron Super Sport – “the very car that fulfilled Piëch’s speed ambitions by exceeding 300 mph.”

The Chiron Super Sport-based F.K.P. Hommage shares the exterior design of the Veyron, including its distinctive red finish, though every surface has now been refined for both performance and visual balance.

Visible changes on the exterior includes three-dimensional horseshoe grille, narrower headlights, larger intakes and an updated wheel size larger — 20-inch at the front, 21-inch at the back wrapped in the latest Michelin rubber.

Highlights inside includes a unique steering wheel and an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, a 41mm timepiece that dominated the dashboard and reportedly ordered by the future owner of F.K.P. Hommage.

Hommage, we honor his (Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch) vision with the highest specification engine of 1,600 hp, the reinforced double-clutch gearbox, the latest tire compounds and optimized thermo- and aerodynamics – all the latest developments across 20 years of W16 evolution, wrapped in the timeless shape of a Veyron,” said, Frank Heyl, Bugatti Design Director.

Set for physically unveiling at Rétromobile Show in Paris (January 28 – February 1), the F.K.P. Hommage joins the Brouillard, the first creation of Bugatti’s “Programme Solitaire” that is dedicated to creating its bespoke, one-of-one vehicles for the wealthy.
