Throwback : When Billionaire Femi Otedola Ditched His Rolls-Royces To Take A Ride Inside ‘Molue Bus’
Throwback : When Billionaire Femi Otedola ditched his Rolls-Royce luxury cars to take a ride inside ‘Molue Bus’.
When the video was first shared, it was alleged that Otedola was aspiring to run for office in the 2019 elections.
In his remarks, Femi Otedola clarified that he took the ride to feel the pulse of masses.

Back in 2018, the Nigerian social media pages went buzzing, after a video of billionaire Femi Otedola boarding a yellow commercial bus, popularly known as ‘Molue’, was shared online.
The news came as a surprise as no one expected Femi Otedola, who owns and rides in the best luxury limousines money can buy, to board the ever crowded 44-seater yellow commercial bus.

What’s even more surprising was that not a single passenger inside the bus could recognize the silent billionaire and philanthropist during his ride from Sango Ota in Ogun state with two of his aides.

When the video was first shared, it was alleged that Otedola rode in the public bus because he was aspiring to run for office in the upcoming 2019 elections.
In his remarks, Femi Otedola clarified that he took the ride to feel the pulse of masses.
“I wanted to feel the pulse of the masses and I entered public bus in London but I was advised to try it in Nigeria to really feel the pulse of the masses.

“What struck me was that God needs to intervene in this country. People have no reason to suffer.”
Femi Otedola is no doubt one of few silent billionaires around, but the 59 year former chairman of Forte Oil PLC is also known for living a lavish lifestyle.
Some of his pinnacle of luxury, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom 7 and the Phantom 8 sedans, allows him to enjoy a magic carpet ride with his friends and family.
