Turkey’s Largest Restaurant, A Converted Airbus Aircraft, Is On Sale For ₦541m

The luxury plane-turned-restaurant is the symbol of the region, hosting numerous wedding ceremonies, parties and dinners.

Turkey’s largest restaurant, a retired Airbus A340 plane-turned-restaurant, is currently on sale for $1.4m ( or approx. ₦541 million)
The Airbus A340, belonging to Turkey’s national flag carrier Turkish Airlines, was cut into eight pieces in Istanbul after completed its life in the air in 2016.
The pieces of the giant aircraft were later transported to the Burhaniye district of Balikesir in at least seven trucks. At its new home, the pieces were converted into a luxury restaurant with a capacity of 280 people.
Since then, the luxury plane-turned-restaurant has been the symbol of the region, hosting numerous wedding ceremonies, parties and dinners.
According to Huseyin Caliskan, a real estate agent, a Turkish entrepreneur, who had invested 1.5 million dollars for its conversion, has decided to sell it after having some health problems.
