2022 Toyota Glanza is now on sale with prices starting at Rs 6.39 lakh (or about $8,399.43 United States Dollar). Based on the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota has created a wider gap between the appearances of the two cars as compared to the outgoing models.
Visually, the shape of the 2022 Toyota Glanza is identical to the Baleno but carries a sportier front design thanks to a different grille and bumper along with LED DRL light strip for the headlamps.
It also gets LED fog lamps and projector LED headlamps. The 16-inch alloys worn by the Glanza are also different from the Baleno and the rear too gets a slightly different LED light signature for the tail lamps.

The cabin appears more in line with the Baleno’s with the 9-inch touch infotainment display, flat-bottom steering, and a tweak to the cabin layout with a black and beige two-tone interior.
The aircon vents sit below the infotainment display with the redesigned climate control switches sitting lower down.
There is also a head-up display similar to the Baleno. Other features include 60:40 split rear seats, rear aircon vents, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, a 360-degree parking camera, and many more features. Safety-wise, the car gets 6 airbags in the top-spec along with ABS with EBD and BA, hill hold control.
The 2022 Toyota Glanza uses a 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 90bhp and 114Nm of torque. This engine is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. Toyota Glanza has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.35kmpl (manual) and 22.94kmpl (AMT) and gets idle start/stop tech.
The 2022 Toyota Glanza has been launched in four trims. Base E is priced at Rs 6.39 lakh while the top-spec Glanza V is available for Rs 9.19 lakh (manual) and Rs 9.69 lakh (AMT) (all prices ex-showroom). The car competes with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and the Honda Jazz.
