7 Cars That Will Star In James Bond’s Upcoming Movie, No Time To Die, Including Gun-firing DB5
From the 1977 V8 Vantage to the guns and ejector seat-laden DB5 from the early 1960s, here are seven (7) cars that will star in the upcoming James Bond movie.
Finally, the 25th instalment of the classic James Bond series, No Time To Die, will make its world premiere later this month, nearly a year after the reveal was postponed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
IMBD reports that the plot of the new film opens with James Bond no longer in active service as a spy, but a friend from the CIA asks for help to chase a villain with “dangerous new technology.”
When the movie arrives at the cinema, car lovers and petrol heads will be thrilled with the number of cars that will star in the much awaited movie, including four Aston Martin James Bond cars and the new Land Rover Defender, driven by the villains.
From the 1977 V8 Vantage to the guns and ejector seat-laden DB5 from the early 1960s, here are seven cars that will star in the upcoming James Bond movie.
1) Aston Martin Valhalla
The new Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engined supercar, named after the Viking legend of the “warriors paradise”, will make its acting debut in the 25th James Bond film.
Apart from having a ferocious name, the third hybrid from the British luxury marque, also keeps with its tradition of naming its high performance cars with the letter “V”.
Powering it is a twin-turbo charged V6 and hybrid-electric powertrain, making 986 hp, allowing the hybrid Hypercar to reach a top-speed of 200 mph.

2) 1987 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The powerful 1977 Aston Martin V8 used by Timothy Dalton’s James Bond in the 1987 The Living Daylights makes a return in No Time To Die.
Just 192 Volantes were ever built, but none of them feature missile launchers, lasers or rocket boosters found on this ride that will star alongside Daniel Craig.
3) Aston Martin DB5
The iconic Aston Martin DB5 from the early 1960s is the most popular and tech-filled James Bond car. The DB5 comes with every gadgets an MI6 agent would ever need, including a retractable bulletproof rear screen and revolving license plates.
Other features includes a dual .30-caliber browning machines guns, an ejector seat, smokescreen, and various other devices that will not make roads motorable for chasing vehicles.
4) Land Rover Defender
While Daniel Craig will be riding the latest Aston Martin hypercar in the next 007 film, the villains will be driving the new Land Rover Defender.
A footage from upcoming shared by Land Rover last year captured three 3 Land Rover Defender SUVs performing some impressive stunt during an intense chase scene.
5) Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera will be driven by Nomi, which highlighted her as the future of Britain’s secret service. Nomi was seen pulling up alongside James Bond in a trailer shared on social media.
With the power of 715 horses and top speed of 211 mph, Aston Martins DBS will surely make an impression.
6) Triumph Bike
We will get to see the “Spy” (not pictured) ride on a monstrous Scrambler 1200 motorcycle when the movie reaches the theaters on the 30 September 2021.
In one of the movie’s blockbuster action sequences, Craig’s Bond was seen riding a Triumph bike while performing some spectacular stunts along the way.
7) Maserati Quattroporte
One of several trailers shared also showed that a fourth-generation Maserati Quattroporte will also be featuring in the newest James Bond movie, No Time to Die.
The Quattroporte IV, built from 1993 to 2001, rides on the same platform as the Maserati Biturbo and shares that car’s twin-turbo V-6s.
