3-seats, Butterfly-doors, Huge Rear Fan, Meet The New ₦1.2b McLaren F1-inspired T.50 Supercar

Mclaren F1 design legend Gordon Murray unveils his ₦1.2 billion T.50 three-seater supercar with butterfly-doors and a huge rear fan.
Gordon Murray Automotive will build just 100 T.50 supercars.
Each of these road-going cars will have a starting price of ₦1.2 billion before Nigerian taxes and destination charges.
Legendary automotive designer and engineer Prof. Gordon Murray has unveiled his stunning supercar which he calls as “the purest, lightest, most driver-focused supercar ever made.”
Dubbed the GMA T.50, the ultra-light, mid-engined, all-carbonfibre three-seater, is described as the ‘spiritual successor’ to the ’90s McLaren F1 supercar, which Murray also designed.

Inside, the butterfly-door coupe has a three-across seating and a central driver positon, as well as a jet-fighter inspired cockpit.
The T.50 coupe features a carbon fiber chassis and overall weight of just 2,160 pounds.
The supercar has a huge “FAN” at the back, instead of big wing, that evacuates air from underneath to generate an adjustable amount of downforce.
The innovative “FAN”, first seen in the 1978 Brabham-Alfa Romeo BT46B, allows the T.50 to stick it to the road.
Powering the new british-made T.50 is an all-new 3.9-litre Cosworth-GMA twin-cam V12 engine developing 650 horsepower.
The engine is the lightest ever V12 unit. It is also the highest-revving naturally-aspirated engine to ever go into a supercar the public can buy and use on the road.
Gordon Murray Automotive will build just 100 T.50 supercars at the Surrey factory in UK, beginning in January 2022.
Each of these road-going cars will have a starting price of £2.36 million (₦1.2 billion) before Nigerian taxes and destination charges.
Most of the supercars have already been snapped up by customers across the globe, notably in the US and Japan. Each of these customers has paid a £600,000 deposit for the privilege.
