Billionaire Prince Arthur Eze’s Private Jet, First To Land At Reopened Enugu Airport

Anambra state billionaire Arthur Eze’s Bombardier Challenger private jet first to land on reopened Enugu Airport.

Eze congratulated President Buhari for his interventions in South East infrastructure.

A private jet owned by billionaire businessman Prince Arthur Eze, on Saturday, emerged first to land on the rehabilitated Akanu Ibiam International Airport runway, Enugu.

This was revealed by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika. Sirika, who accompanied the business tycoon, said he landed with Eze’s private jet to test run the reconstructed 3-km runway.

“This is the first flight that is landing after a long time and I am happy to be on board,”

“I can confirm to you that work has been completed in line with the standard agreed. We are happy and I am sure the people are happy,”

“We are ready for tomorrow (today). We are grateful, we were able to achieve this and within the approved budget for it”

Minister of aviation, Sirika confirmed that the airport will be officially opened for local and international flights on Sunday, August 30 (today).

Anambra state billionaire, Eze, who beamed with smiles on arrival, said the airport has become standard. He congratulated President Buhari for his interventions in South East infrastructure.

He said :

“We must love the North so we can live in peace.”

The reopening of Akanu Ibiam International Airport comes a year after it was closed for expansion and rehabilitation.
