Nissan Recalls More Than 50,000 SUVs Due To Blank Screens
When they start their cars, owners of Nissan Kicks may find themselves staring at blank driver screens. More than 50,000 Kicks from the 2025 and 2026 model years may be impacted, according to a recent recall notice from the automaker.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) states that the problem may arise at startup. Additionally, there are no prior warnings of the issue.
Owners of Kicks are left staring at a blank screen, unable to gauge their speed or spot any warning lights that might appear. One possible solution is for drivers to utilise Waze or Google Maps on their centre display, which would show the speed of the car.
Beginning on July 1st, Nissan will mail a letter to the owners of the impacted vehicles. To fix the faulty Kicks, a service visit may be necessary, which could take up to 30 minutes.
