Lamborghini celebrates URUS SUV number 20,000, a new production record after just 4 years on the market.

Urus establishes itself as Lamborghini’s biggest selling model in the lowest period of time ever.

It has played a crucial role in the brand’s growth by earning a large number of awards and recognitions.

This is due to its extreme versatility, which makes it able to tackle any off-road course or context.





Italian carmaker Lamborghini has set a new production record with the Urus, after the 20,000th units of the Super SUV rolled off the assembly line after just four years of production.

Urus, which arrives on the market in 2018, has establishes itself as Lamborghini’s biggest selling model in the lowest period of time ever.

To put the production milestone in perspective, the V-10-powered Lamborghini Gallardo achieved 14,022 units after ten years on the market.

From 2018 until today, Urus has played a crucial role in the brand’s growth by earning a large number of awards and recognitions owing to its extreme versatility, which makes it able to tackle any off-road course or context.





All in all, it is estimated that the Lamborghini Urus units found all over the world have covered a distance of over 360 million kilometers.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini stated that since the concept was presented in 2012 until its launch on the market in 2018, “Urus immediately demonstrated all of its allure – an allure that it continues to wield like every genuine Lamborghini.

“[…] It is a perfect complement for our lines of super sports car models as it offers an everyday driving experience dictated by luxury and high performance to those who identify with our authentically Italian brand.”

Urus is fitted with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 478 kW and 850 Nm of torque. By combining four-wheel steering with all-wheel drive, Urus accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds (from 0 to 200 km/h in 12.8 seconds) and it reaches a top speed of 305 km/h.
