Mercedes-Benz luxury brand has teased the upcoming 2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV ahead of its debut on April 17, 2023 both online and at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show in China. A press release announcing the upcoming Maybach-badged EQS was accompanied by a teaser photo showing the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV hiding under a golden cover.
“The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV l sets new standards in the age of electromobility. It is based on the technology of the EQS SUV from Mercedes-EQ and combines this with the exclusivity of the Maybach brand to deliver an absolutely top-class electric driving experience”, the press release reads.
While Maybach is yet to reveal the specifications of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680, the EQS 580 4Matic SUV that is based on packs 536 hp and 633 lb-ft of torque from dual electric motors. EQS 580 uses 108.4 kWh battery pack, allowing a 285 miles (459 kilometers) electric range.
