Young Nigerian Female Who Studied Mass Communication Now A Train Driver
A young Nigerian female, Somaga Tonia, earlier in the week wowed Twitter users after claiming she studied Mass Communication while in school but now employed as a train driver with LAMATA’S Lagos Rail Mass Transit Blue Line.
Somaga Tonia revealed this in a thread by Twitter user, OMÓTÁRÁÀKÀNNÍ-LAWRENCE, seeking to know what course its followers studied in school and what they are currently practicing.
Reacting to the post, Somaga Tonia captioned pictures of herself taking while behind the wheels of a train with :

Goodbye To Fuel Queues : Innoson Launches Vehicles Powered By LNG/CNG Into Nigerian Market
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) has officially launched vehicles powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)/Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) into Nigerian market as the Indigenous automaker move to reduce tail pipe emission from vehicles across the country.
The environmentally-friendly vehicles were launched at IVM factory, Nnewi, Anambra state on Thursday (today) 20th of April 2023 by the President of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Otunba Francis Meshioye.
Unlike the polluting petrol/diesel-powered vehicles, the Innoson-branded CNG/LNG vehicles are designed to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality while providing a comfortable and safe ride for passengers.
BRT Bus Set Ablaze Following Head-on Collision With Commercial Bus
A BRT bus belonging to the Lagos State Bus Service Limited was set ablaze by hoodlums on Wednesday morning following an head-on collision with a commercial bus at Ifako inward Ogudu area of the State, killing the Danfo Driver instantly.
In a statement posted to its Twitter handle confirming the tragic incident, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), said that its operatives rescued 7 passengers with various degrees of injuries following the crash.
LASTMA further revealed that the commercial bus somersaulted twice and that the danfo driver died instantly following the seriousness of the collision which was as a result of loss of control due to over speeding.
Multiple Car Accident In Gbagada
A multiple car accident involving a loaded tanker and 3 other vehicles occured in the Gbagada area of Lagos State on the early hours of Monday April 17th, 2023.
No casualties were reported, but the incident affected traffic on that stretch, according to the traffic report posted to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Twitter page on Monday.
“A multiple accident just occurred while descending Gbagada bridge inward ifako.
“This accident involved a loaded tanker and three other vehicles.
“This incident has affected traffic on that stretch….”
